Therapydia Rutland is part of Therapydia, a national network of physical therapy clinics that emphasizes the use of manual physical therapy to better patient outcomes. At Therapydia Rutland, manual therapy is the foundation of all treatments and we will incorporate a variety of treatment methods including high speed video analysis and functional movement screens to tailor a plan just for your needs and lifestyle. We also offer wellness programs for on-going treatment to help prevent re-injuries.

Darci Whitehorne, MSPT, E-RYT received her Masters in Physical Therapy from Boston University in 1998. As a triathlete, she was drawn to the academic nature of orthopedic diagnosis and treatment. In 2003 she became full body certified in Active Release Techniques and continued to focus on manual therapy and therapeutic exercise. Darci’s study of movement led her to the study of yoga and its therapeutic value. She completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training with Kim Valeri from YogaSpirit Studios and continued her study with Barabara Benagh by completing her intensive Art of Teaching training. While continuing to focus on outpatient orthopedics, Darci also served as adjunct faculty at the Community College of Vermont teaching Anatomy and Physiology I and II and at Castleton State College in the Exercise Science Department.
Ronna Davine, MSPT is a 1988 graduate from the University of Vermont’s School of Allied Health Sciences. For the past 27 years, her focus has been on outpatient orthopedics and she has worked with a varied clientele from weekend warriors to Olympic hopefuls. She comes to the Therapydia team with extensive experience and a comprehensive approach to treatment, utilizing manual therapy as well as therapeutic exercise. Ronna’s manual therapy skills are eclectic, using muscle energy techniques, strain/counter strain and Mulligan methods. Ronna’s physical therapy treatment philosophy aligns with Therapydia’s core values of one-on-one care and individualized treatment plans. With her diverse skill set and extensive experience, she helps her patients reach their goals. Ronna is a Rutland native and stays very active with her 3 sons.
Dena Goldberg, MSPT, CSCS graduated from University of Connecticut with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy in 2006. During her last year of school she completed her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), which increased her interest in developing her practice in orthopedics, with a strong interest in Spine care. During the past 10 years of practice, she completed all of The Mckenzie Institute course work associated with McKenzie Method (Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy). Although Spine care has been a main professional focus and interest, Dena has also brings a diverse therapeutic experience in balance assessment/treatment, Sports Medicine, Gary Gray, various manual techniques, work-related injuries, and general orthopedic diagnoses. Dena enjoys working in a clinic environment that allows for collaborations between different clinicians, who provide various schools of thoughts and integrations of many therapeutic methods, with primary focus on optimal patient care, patient empowerment, and lifelong wellness.
Cody Parker, ATC earned his Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Castleton State College in 2013. After graduation, he completed an internship at the University of Vermont working with their club sports teams in addition to assistant teaching in two Athletic Training Education Program classes and a CPR for the Professional Rescuer class. Cody brings his extensive experience with collegiate athletics and orthopedic injuries to the Therapydia team offering Athletic Training services consisting of multi-stage rehabilitation, strength and conditioning for all levels, sport specific strengthening, and TRX Suspension training.
